TRIKOMER fully complies with Directive (EU) 2019/2161 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November – Omnibus Directive, a provision by which previous directives related to the protection of EU consumers are modified and updated. Among them, Directive 2005/29/EC 'relating to the unfair commercial practices of companies in their dealings with consumers', to regulate the control and ensure that online reviews are reliable and backed by real customer experiences. Entered into force on 28 May 2022. In Spain it is applied through the transposition of the mentioned Directive by Royal Decree–Law 24/2021, of 2 November, modifying the General Law for the Defense of Consumers, as Law 3/1991, of 10 January, on unfair competition.
